Dinner Table Talk

  • We are learning about the continents, oceans , the James River, Mississippi River, and the Rio Grande River.

  • Ask your child to tell you about what they have learned.

  

   Announcements:

 

  •  It is really hard to believe that the school year is almost over.  I have enjoyed working with the children this year.   We still have a lot to cover before the end  of the year.  Please encourage your child to continue to work hard.
  • Our Room Mother will be sending home information soon concerning the end of the year party.  She would like to use as many parents as possible for this event. Please let her know if you are interested in participating when you receive the letter.
  • Our last order for Scholastic book orders  will be coming home soon.  Please disregard toe forms if you will not be ordering books.
  • The field trip to Brookdale Farm has been changed.  The field trip to Brookdale is May 29th.  If you are interested in chaperoning, please send in a note.  We can only take a limited number on the bus.   If you are unable to ride the bus, you may drive your car and meet us there.   
  • The children continue to show a lot of growth in their reading.  This can be attributed to their enjoyment for reading.  Please continue to encourage your child to read each night for at least twenty minutes. 
  • Progress Reports will be issued to students experiencing difficulties on May 16, 2008.
